We offer research projects for students with a background in biophysics, physics, cell biology, molecular biology or material science. Our biophysics group uses atomic force microscopy combined with optical microscopy and complement it with molecular and cellular biology techniques to quantitatively image, manipulate and control molecular and cellular systems, ranging from single membrane receptors to multicellular systems.
