We are a modern and many-sided university library with various services to our students and researchers. In the Research & Infrastructure area of the libarary (one of our three units) we are currently accepting requests for a paid internship. Ideally, you have worked in an academic library before and/or are interested in learning more about our duties. Possible topics include scientific publishing and research data management (Open Access, Open Research Data, Open Science), application development and repository management (based on DSpace software), any software programming skills, conceptualisation of learning materials on these topics, various statistics etc. We speak many languages (incl. German, English, Russian, Lithuanian, Spanisch, Dutch, Swedish). Please note: because this paid position requires valid work permission, we can only offer an internship to individuals who have fled to Switzerland (i.e. who are already in Switzerland) and have been granted protection status S by the local authorities. It is thus most suitable if you are already based in Kanton Zurich or its surroundings. As an internship, this offer is best applicable to students or early-career professionals.
