A post-doctoral research associate position is available immediately in the Optical Diagnostics for Diseased and Engineered Tissues lab headed by Dr. Irene Georgakoudi at Tufts University.

We are looking for a postdoctoral research associate who will play a critical role in the design, development and use of state-of-the-art non-linear microscopic imaging systems to characterize essential functional properties of cells, organisms, and tissues.

Prior experience with optical instrumentation, imaging and image analysis and/or a strong computational/quantitative analysis background is expected.

The position includes a fellowship stipend following NIH postdoctoral fellow pay guidelines (https://www.niaid.nih.gov/grants-contracts/salary-cap-stipends) and health insurance benefits. Additional benefits may be negotiated. The University will also provide all necessary paperwork to secure the appropriate work visa.
