Patil lab at University of Cambridge is looking to host a Ukrainian scientist, a PhD student or a Postdoctoral researcher, who is interested in microbial communities and pesticide exposure. In our project, funded by the HFSP (https://www.hfsp.org), we are charting the co-evolution landscape of microbial communities exposed to pesticides utilizing a range of omics approaches including genomics and metabolomics. The visiting scientist would thus have an opportunity to develop or advance their skills in microbiology, genetics and metabolomics.

The hosting period will be 1 year under the framework of an HFSP-funded project and the 'Scientist4Scientist' initiative, promoted by the HFSPO in collaboration with the European Union.
