Laboratory of Biotechnology in Aquaculture, Institute of Fisheries of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine

Today, we need reagents for the cultivation of cell culture, namely laboratory plastic and nutrient media (EMEM - 5L, DME/F-12 - 5L), including embryonic calf serum (2L), etc (trypsin-EDTA solution 1L, antibiotic and antmycotic solution). We are in great need of cell culture flasks (around 200 pcs would be good) and 96 well plates (50 pcs). Unfortunately, we do not currently have the opportunity to purchase materials and reagents, because the budget for consumables was greatly reduced in connection with the war. In addition, we need to resume work on the study of DNA nucleotide sequences of fish viruses, which we have isolated over the past six months. For this purpose, we are ready to isolate DNA fragments and send them abroad for sequencing. Our stock of reagents can last for a month or a month and a half, so any help during this period would be good. Shipments to Ukraine work, including by postmail. All materials and reagents will be used during the implementation of a national project aimed at monitoring, studying fish viruses and analyzing the epizootic situation in fish farms, which is important for food security of Ukraine. A report on the use of materials will be provided.
