We are a group of researchers who have experience in manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, and materials science. We have an experience of implementation of R&D projects within government projects, bilateral projects, and international scientific and educational projects. Our research interest is focused on smart manufacturing, implementation of decision-making and intelligent systems to engineering, collaborative robotics, fixture design, etc. We are open for a collaboration.
Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine (February 24, 2022), the city of Sumy, located 40 km from the border with the Russian Federation, has come under artillery fire and rocket and air strikes. The city was surrounded and captured (February 24, 2022) by the enemy army, which led to the destruction of the city's infrastructure facilities. The infrastructure of Sumy State University also suffered. In March 2022, five bombs were dropped near Sumy State University. Windows were broken in all university buildings. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Currently, the Sumy region is subjected to daily artillery and mortar attacks, and rocket attacks. More than 30% of the working time falls on visiting special bomb shelters that do not allow Internet use and are not equipped for educational and scientific activities. The psychological state of researchers under martial law is unfavorable.
In addition, part of the research infrastructure (laboratory equipment) has been mobilized to fight the aggressor, which makes it impossible to conduct experimental research.
These facts demotivate research and educational activities.
