The Agrofood Lab of the University of Brescia offers funding opportunities for PhD positions or research scholarships in the field of applied entomology. The candidate will be involved in the development of quantitative approaches and models supporting the management of plant pests (mainly arthropods). The candidate will deal with i) the extraction, analysis and synthesis of biological and environmental data, ii) the quantitative evaluation of the risk of introduction, establishment and spread of pests, and iii) the analysis and predictions of the impacts linked to pests.
