The study's objective will be to design, develop and synthesize hydrogel nanocomposites composed of a suitable polymer and layered silicate particles functionalized with photoactive and antimicrobial molecules. A detailed study of the structural features of the materials, and their performance in the various tests should lead to functional materials with photosensitizing and photodisinfection properties.

The Hildegardis-Verein now offers unbureaucratic help to Christian women from Ukraine who want to continue their academic studies in Germany, or start a new qualification scheme, through 5 emergency grants.

RESOLV is a world-leading interdisciplinary research project in Solvation Science awarded as a Cluster of Excellence by the German Excellence Strategy. Within RESOLV, more than 200 scientists at six institutions in the Ruhr area covering experimental chemistry, theory, and chemical engineering investigate how solvents are involved in the control, mediation, and regulation of chemical reactions and processes. RESOLV’s mission stretches from fundamental research to applications and products.

RESOLV provides a science-driven integrated graduate program in Solvation Science from B.Sc. directly to Ph.D. for the next generation of researchers in academia and industry, promotes opportunities for Early Career Researcher groups, and takes action to provide an environment that retains and supports a diverse range of talents in science.

RESOLV provides funding for Ukrainian scientists of all career levels, from graduate students to visiting professors, to be hosted by one of our research groups for up to 6 months.

Our biophysics group uses atomic force microscopy combined with optical microscopy and complement it with molecular and cellular biology techniques to quantitatively image, manipulate and control molecular and cellular systems, ranging from single membrane receptors to multicellular systems.

The lab is looking for a web-programer for SAS. The goal is generated online algorithm to classify the EEG signal recorded from the Brain.
