The Hildegardis-Verein now offers unbureaucratic help to Christian women from Ukraine who want to continue their academic studies in Germany, or start a new qualification scheme, through 5 emergency grants.

The Hildegardis-Verein is a network for women. For more than 100 years it has acted upon a simple principle of solidarity: Women in financial straits receive money from a joint fund and repay it once they have found their feet again.

Our emergency grant is intended for women from Ukraine who need an interest-free loan right in these difficult times. It is aimed both at women who have just started or are about to start a course of studies at a German university or technical college OR at women who want to continue their (online) studies at a Ukrainian university. To qualify for a grant, applicants must be of a Christian affiliation. In view of the current situation, the Hildegardis-Verein has expanded its tried-and-tested grant portfolio and streamlined the application process.
