My group studies how discrete genetic factors contribute to the development of neurological disorders, with a particular focus on the mechanistic link between rare genetic diseases and aging-associated neurodegenerative diseases. To this end, we develop models with human pluripotent stem cells and long-term cultures of organoids combined with single cell-omics. We have open postdoc and graduate student positions.
