The IncLUsion initiative makes it possible for refugees who are not (yet) able to register as students to follow courses at Leiden University. You can follow up to two undergraduate courses per semester. These are individual, one-semester courses taught in English. Although these are degree courses, you will not earn study credits for them. Instead, upon successful completion, you will be awarded a certificate of participation. Courses are free of charge.

Buddy system
Studying is more than just attending classes, which is why IncLUsion works with a buddy system. Buddies are Leiden University students who will help you to integrate at the university by answering your questions and accompanying you to social activities.
