Due to the lasting russian military aggression in Ukraine, the priority areas of KhNMU internationalization are academic mobility, project activities and research.

Academic mobility. Our hospitals and clinical facilities mostly operate to provide primary care and treatment of war victims. In this regard, there are difficulties with the possibility of completing practical trainings of 4-5 years study students.

Project activities and research. The fields of interest are Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing, Technologies of Medical Diagnostics and Treatment, Public Management and Administration, Education Science, Social Work, Physical Rehabilitation, Pediatrics.

About the Institution

Kharkiv National Medical University is the the oldest medical school in Ukraine. The main task of KhNMU is the training of qualified medical personnel, therefore all the forces of our University are directed precisely to the continuation of the educational process. We have to keep our responsibilities - to train doctors in the existing conditions, we have to prepare decent support for the health care system of Ukraine. The training of medical personnel is a strategic task for us, it is extremely important for our country both in wartime and in the postwar period.

The International Relations Office is a structural division of KhNMU. It was founded in 1994 to expand and improve the University’s cooperation with foreign partners.

The International Relations Office’s activities are focused on organizational, technical, informational and methodical provisions.
